We just concluded a fantastic Mitchell 1 Shop Management Users Workshop event at the marvelous Opryland Hotel in Nashville this past weekend. A sold-out crowd joined us to get more value and efficiency out of their Manager SE software, as well as to learn more about the latest updates to our SocialCRM shop marketing service, and the upcoming enhancements in ProDemand and SureTrack that we are all excited about introducing at the upcoming AAPEX show in November (stay tuned).

It was fun to show the new features being added to Manager SE 6.5 on a more frequent basis, thanks to the AutoUpdater function that delivers them by Internet every few weeks. Attendees were amazed by our new ATD tire catalog and the inventory upgrades and markup matrix features that came with it, the repair order part lines color coded for ordered/received status, the Revisions with dates… and numerous other tweaks to improve the user experience.

During the Friday night reception, Brian Warfield, senior product manager for Mitchell 1, showed off the new SocialCRM dashboard and tighter integration with Manager SE. In just a couple short weeks, users will see customer marketing activity along with results per customer and will be alerted when there are pending reviews, all without leaving the Manager SE screen. This truly improves the shop’s efficiency and adds awareness of marketing activity.

Our friends from Bolt-on Technologies also joined us at the workshop and wowed the crowd with their latest ProPack products such as Message Pro, Lube Sticker Pro and Report Pro. They consistently had an attentive crowd during our workshop breaks and their presence fueled a new level of excitement for what we’re doing. XCharge was also on hand to talk about how credit and debit card processing and reporting fit Manager SE like a glove and offer very competitive rates for our users.

This was our last event for 2014 and we will select 2015 locations soon. We’ll be sure to let you all know where and when you can join us for more learning, networking and fun.
