Roundup of 2015 ProDemand Product Updates

Taking a look in the rear view mirror, 2015 was a banner year for ProDemand enhancements. In particular, our development and editorial teams introduced many significant improvements to the navigation and data, delivering more features and content to our subscribers. The majority of these enhancements were in response to user feedback – we hear you and definitely appreciate your ideas and suggestions for improvement.

We highlighted the “bigger” enhancements here in the blog, but there were also many dozens of “micro” updates that individually and collectively contributed to improving the user experience.  Here’s a summary of the many major improvements to ProDemand that we talked about in the blog in the last year:

Mitchell 1 consolidated our information for vehicles from 1974-1982 into our ProDemand application.

After logging into ProDemand, all users will now see links to training videos in the middle of the home screen.

 

 

SearchTitles_FeaturedImprovements to Search Titles and Highlighting
After selecting a search term from the results page, ProDemand now highlights any instances of that search term and the synonyms of that search term in the resulting data.

Through advanced data analysis, 1Search now returns results with pinpoint accuracy to save time on lookups.

 

 

Links_featuredQuick Links Bar Moved to the Front of the 1Search Screen
The Quick Links bar is now prominently displayed on the 1Search module, directly below the search bar.

 

Estimate-PartsView_featuredEstimate Guide Improvements
When you navigate to the “Parts” tab within the Estimate Guide module, item number is now shown on the same viewing level as the part name

 

 

These updates are part of the ongoing effort to continuously improve ProDemand based on feedback from our users.
