Explosion of Expert-Based Content in SureTrack

Over the course of the past year, the Mitchell 1 teams have been working hard to build the quantity and quality of the expert-based content in our SureTrack diagnostic information resource in ProDemand. In fact, you might say it’s been a bit of a content explosion — we now offer over 24 million articles to assist technicians of all skill levels with their diagnostics. This increase represents growth of 84% over the 13 million Real Fixes in product just last year.

These articles come from a combination of sources including a database that currently houses repair data from approximately 383 million repair transactions along with input from the interactive SureTrack community, whose members share tips and tricks to help each other repair vehicles.

The article categories in SureTrack include:

  • Real Fixes: Shortcuts based on actual repairs performed in shops
  • Tips: Vehicle-specific diagnostic guidance
  • Component tests: Complete with connector views and test connections
  • Waveforms: Known good images that help confirm diagnoses
  • Questions: Answered by the SureTrack community of experts

We’re currently adding about 400,000 new Real Fixes to the product each and every month. For ProDemand users, this means you have more information than ever available to help you repair vehicles more efficiently, and it’s growing all the time.
