Best of the Blog – 2014 ProDemand Updates
Reflecting back on the ProDemand blog posts of 2014, it struck me how busy the software and editorial development teams at Mitchell1 were during the year, improving ProDemand to deliver more features and content to our subscribers.
Here’s a summary of the many major improvements to ProDemand that we talked about in the blog in the last year (click the blue links or the thumbnails to read the full articles):
1Search – While 1Search was technically introduced in 2013, a lot of improvements were made to the functionality of 1Search throughout 2014. This post outlines how to use 1Search to make yourself a ProDemand Power User.
2014 Engine Oil Capacities – In July, our editorial staff completed the oil capacity information for 2014, which is included in the Fluid Capacities table in the Quick Link menu, (a quick reference guide to all fluid types and capacities in the vehicle).
More Expert-based Content – Throughout 2014, our editorial staff added millions of Real Fix articles as part of the SureTrack information included in 1Search.
Top 10 Lists Added to 1Search – ProDemand now shows listings of the most common repair information for each vehicle.
ProView– At SEMA/AAPEX 2014, Mitchell1 announced our newest unique feature for ProDemand – ProView. With ProView, technicians can view related code, symptom and component information in order to more easily diagnose a problem.
ProDemand Mobile – ProDemand now is available in a mobile version for use on Apple and Android tablets.
