Mitchell 1 announces the latest edition of its popular OnDemand5.com, version 1.6, which builds upon the landmark features and performance enhancements that were introduced in version 1.5. As featured in AutoCareProNews.com and Aftermarket News.

“Our OnDemand5.com product has been enhanced yet again this year to provide professional technicians with comprehensive repair information as quickly and efficiently as possible.” said Gary Hixson, product manager for Mitchell 1. “The beauty of this web-based product is our ability to bring a continuous stream of improvements to our customers during the course of a year.”

OnDemand5.com version 1.6 includes further enhancements to the product’s Search feature. In particular, the product allows diagnostic trouble codes to be found more clearly and easily via the search function. Searching for the number zero now yields the same result as searching for the letter “O”. For example, if technicians search po123 instead of p0123, they still find the correct results. Additionally, the overall Search algorithms have been modified to allow for more accurate and complete Search results.

For new and experienced customers alike, training videos and a Feature Tour have been included in the online help section to assist users in learning all of the valuable features included in the product. And finally, for user convenience, the session time-out period has been extended from 4 hours to 12, so that customers will not have to log back into the product multiple times during a given work day.

With this month’s OnDemand5.com version 1.6 release Mitchell 1 has included another large installment of the latest vehicle coverage, late-breaking factory bulletins, the industry’s best wiring diagrams and Mitchell 1’s legendary parts and labor guide’s to make sure professional technicians have the data they need to work on the vehicles in their bays.
