Mitchell 1 announces it has added new features and updated existing content in its popular Version 2.5 software. As featured in Auto Service Professional.

Key changes to Version 2.5 include:

New Feature – Tire Fitment: now provides Tire Fitment information for fast and easy access to tire sizes, inflation pressures, torque specifications and more.

New Feature – Newsletter: View the latest automotive industry news, featured OnDemand Live tips and Mitchell 1 topics.

New Feature – Conversion Calculator: Quickly convert between metric and imperial measurement systems. This includes conversions for length, area, volume, weight, work, pressure and temperature.

Update -Training Videos: Maximize the efficiency of with feature specific training videos. Each video gives a concise overview of navigation and provides helpful hints. Videos include repair overview, using search, Estimator, TSB/recalls, and maintenance and fluids.

Update – Quick Lookups: With the latest release of, Mitchell 1 brought the most commonly accessed information forward so that technicians can easily look up codes, specifications, procedures and wiring diagrams.

Update – Navigation Links (Go Back): The “go back” navigation update allows for easier access to your previous articles.

Update – Vintage Access: Allows for direct access to Mitchell 1 Vintage information with repair information going back to 1960. was launched in 2002 to provide technicians with all of the features and information of OnDemand in a fast, powerful and convenient online program. Today, delivers comprehensive data for 1983 through current domestic and import vehicle models. It includes the new OnDemand Live feature, where users view and share tips, as well as access clear illustrations and full-color wiring diagrams, complete diagnostics, tech bulletins and recalls, scheduled maintenance with labor times, automatic monthly data updates and OEM parts and pricing.
