Mitchell 1 Wins 2016 PTEN Innovation Award for Manager SE Scheduler Tool
Mitchell 1 announces it has received a 2016 Professional Tool & Equipment News (PTEN) Innovation Award in the computers and software category for its new Scheduler tool in Manager™ SE.
Chosen by a panel of judges consisting of technicians and shop owners, the PTEN Innovation Awards recognize products that respond to the automotive repair industry’s market challenges with creativity and innovation. Tools are evaluated based on their ability to make vehicle repair and diagnosis easier and more efficient, and make shops more productive.

When creating appointments, shops need a scheduling solution with visibility into available resources, including technicians, bays and specialty equipment. With the new Scheduler module in the Manager™ SE auto shop management software, for the first time, shops have the ability to see and control all aspects of their scheduling process with a searchable, sortable and configurable calendar with an appointment editor.
Color coding and drag-and-drop functionality simplify setting up customer appointments, while also committing equipment and resources to these calendar events. When ready to perform work, shops can create repair orders directly from the appointments, using the customer, vehicle and complaint data already recorded. Shops can also schedule non-customer shop events into their calendars, and more.
