Scott DeGiorgio Named General Manager of Commercial Vehicle Group
San Diego, CA – April 12, 2006 –Mitchell 1, the leading provider of technical information for vehicle maintenance, service and repair, today announced that Scott DeGiorgio has been hired as the General Manager of the company’s newly created Commercial Vehicle Group.
DeGiorgio comes to Mitchell 1 with over twenty years of executive management experience with leading OEM and component manufacturers. As General Manager of Sales & Operations for Great Dane Trailers, DeGiorgio was responsible for the company’s highly successful aftermarket parts distribution. Prior to joining Great Dane, DeGiorgio served as General Manager of the Service Parts division of Grumman Olson, a leading manufacturer of vehicle bodies for the heavy vehicle market and as the director of sales and marketing for Red Dot, makers of heating and air-conditioning solutions for heavy-duty vehicles.
