Do not lube the accelerator pedal.

Toyota cautions about accelerator pedal service. For 2001-2013 4Runner, Avalon, Camry, Camry HV, Celica, Corolla, FJ Cruiser, Highlander, Highlander HV, Land Cruiser, Matrix, Prius, Prius C, Prius PHV, Prius V, RAV4, RAV4 EV, Sequoia, Sienna, Solara, Tacoma, Tundra, Venza and Yaris vehicles, Toyota advises that the accelerator pedal does not require lubrication. Do not apply oil or other lubrication to the accelerator pedal assembly. If applied, the accelerator pedal sensor assembly must be replaced.
