Mitchell 1 Awards 2021 TMCSuperTech Grand Champion with TruckSeries Subscription
Mitchell 1 announced it has awarded the 2021 TMCSuperTech Grand Champion, Christopher Tate from Mohawk Truck, with a full-year subscription to Mitchell 1’s TruckSeries repair information software. He will have access to all of the company’s online service information products for Class 4-8 trucks. The event was part of the American Trucking Associations’ Technology & Maintenance Council’s 2021 Fall Meeting & Transportation Technology Exhibition held September 13-16, 2021 at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland (OH).
Mitchell 1 has been a sponsor of the TMCSuperTech national competitions since their inception 16 years ago and annually gives an award to the top finisher to recognize the hard work necessary to earn this achievement. “Without a competition last year, we were really pleased to again be part of the hands-on SuperTech contest administering the Service Information station,” noted Kristy LaPage, business manager for Mitchell 1’s commercial vehicle group. “All the contestants work very hard to show their skills and compare themselves against the rest of the field. We’re delighted to honor Christopher for taking the top prize this year. Access to Mitchell 1’s TruckSeries will give him an additional resource to rely on as he moves forward in his career.”
TruckSeries, Mitchell 1’s suite of complete software solutions for the trucking industry, provides integrated access to labor estimating, diagnostic trouble code procedures and repair information for medium- and heavy-duty trucks in a single application. TruckSeries is the only comprehensive truck repair information software suite of its kind available for Class 4-8 trucks, delivering a one-stop, single log-in, all-makes data resource with interactive wiring diagrams, ADAS quick reference, digital pictures, DTC-to-diagnostics, and more, all delivered in seconds.
In addition to being a sponsor of TMCSuperTech, Mitchell 1 also administers the Service Information skills station at the event utilizing TruckSeries to test competitors on their ability to use computers and web-based programs to diagnose and fix vehicles properly. This year’s winner of the Service Information station competition was Michael Kraus from Clarke Power. Mitchell 1 also supports and participates in many state technician skills competitions.
