When technicians need a common specification like wheel torque or belt routing information, they need it immediately – not after scrolling through tables or hunting for highlighted search results. That’s exactly what the latest QuickSpecs update in ProDemand® was designed to improve: less searching, less scrolling and faster access to the exact information you need.
Cleaner Layout, Faster Navigation
Ensuring consistency was also a major priority in this release. QuickSpecs leverages a standardized common spec table across the platform, creating a familiar experience regardless of the vehicle being serviced.
The updated layout dramatically reduces the need to scroll or jump around the page. Common specifications load in a more compact format, so key details are visible right away. Whether you’re reviewing a single spec or moving between multiple results, the experience feels smoother and more efficient from start to finish.
Supporting information hasn’t gone away; it’s just been reorganized. Related tables and additional specification data now live in the second accordion sections. This keeps the initial view clean and focused, while still giving you quick access to related data when you need it. The result is a more streamlined experience with far less visual clutter.
A More Consistent, Search Experience
At the center of the update is a more focused search return, which better reflects what the user wants to see. When you search for a specification, the Specification card now displays only the specific spec you searched for.
You’re no longer met with extra information that requires scanning or filtering. What you searched for is what you see first, which makes it much faster to verify key specifications and get back to the repair.
Search behavior has also been tightened through deeper integration with the 1Search™ Plus bar. QuickSpecs now returns only the data directly tied to the terms you enter. When you select a specification, the system surfaces the specific fields and values that match your search. There’s no extra noise, and no need to manually filter results after the fact. It’s a much more direct experience.
Overall, the new QuickSpecs experience is working the way users already think. It brings relevant specs forward, keeps navigation tight, standardizes how data is displayed, and makes search results feel intentional. The goal is simple: help you get to the right specification faster and stay focused once you’re there.
