SureTrack Real Fix: EGR Fix Triumph!
The customer reported that the check engine light was illuminated. A scan tool was utilized, revealing a code P0400-00, which indicated a problem with the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve “A” Flow. Live data monitoring during a test drive confirmed that the EGR valve was not functioning properly. A visual inspection showed no visible faults, and further checks indicated the wiring harness was intact. However, when the EGR valve was removed and tested with jumper wires, it failed to operate as expected. As a result, the faulty EGR valve was replaced, leading to successful resolution of the issue.
SureTrack Real Fix: DPF Dilemma Solved
A customer complaint regarding the engine light being on led to diagnosing code P1498 related to DPF overloading. Live data monitoring revealed that the diesel particulate filter pressure sensor signal was out of specification due to either a component fault or blockage. Inspections showed no issues with the sensor itself, but high soot levels indicated a blockage in the diesel particulate filter. A vacuum test confirmed this blockage, necessitating further action for resolution.

The customer reported that the check engine light was on in their 2014 Land Rover Freelander. After connecting a scan tool, a P00B8 code was found, indicating a correlation issue with the mass or volume air flow.
