Need Your Input on Third-Party Software in Use
Please be advised that the next major update to our shop management software, scheduled for mid-2024, will involve an upgrade to the core database engine. This change is necessary to ensure ongoing compatibility with future software versions and to stay in sync with Windows updates.
As of January 2024, Mitchell 1 is proactively reaching out to gather information regarding any third-party software that shops may be using, specifically those that we do not officially integrate with or are potentially unknown to us.
When this update is installed later this year, it is possible that some third-party applications integrated with your management software may become incompatible with our software and cease to function. Our goal is to prevent any disruptions caused by the upcoming SQL database engine upgrade affecting third-party software programs not officially recognized by us.
To help minimize the impact of the upcoming update, we are asking for your input through a brief survey provided at the link below.
You DO NOT need to respond to this survey if:
- You have already participated in our December email survey; we have recorded your input.
- You are using KNOWN third-party integrations, such as Bolt On products, AccountingLink (for QuickBooks, etc.) from Back Office, QuickBooks Integrator, First Mile, Global Payments, MVIRS, or any of our current parts catalog integrations (AC Delco, Activant, Advance, ATD, Autoi, AutoZone, Carquest, ePart Connection, O’Reilly FirstCall, FMPDelivers, Mighty, My Place For Parts, NAPA, Nexpart, NTW, Parts Authority, PartsTech, RAPID, RepairLink Shop, SSF Eurolink, Tireweb, Transend, WISE Connect, WorldPAC, XL Parts). These partners have already contacted about changes and are supplied with the necessary technical assets to test with.
The specific group of vendors that Mitchell 1 is seeking information about are the companies without official integrations with our shop management software.
- Here’s the list we have collected so far: 360 Payments, Auto Ops Scheduling, Auto Vitals, Broadly, CARFAX, Demand Force, Drive, EAutoClub – Service Intelligence, Instant Autosite, Kukui, MechanicAdvisor, MechanicNet, Oktorocket, Pitcrew Rewards, Podium, RepairPal, Repair Shop Marketing Scorecard, Royalty Rewards, Synchrony, Towbook, and Upswell.
If you are using any such applications (not already listed above), we kindly request that you fill out the brief survey form at the link below. This way, we can attempt to notify these third-party companies in advance to avoid any potential disruptions in their applications and ensure a smooth transition for our customers. Thank you for your assistance in making this transition easier for all.
