The Perfect Email Campaign

I once had a shop owner describe to me his perfect email campaign. The campaign would look at all the vehicles in his shop management software and send an email to the owners of the ones that were due for their timing-belt replacement service. He followed this with the fair yet stinging comment, “You’re a repair information company, you should be able to do that.”

He was right that we should be able to do that — {insert dramatic pause here} — and now we can! Starting in September, we will be turning on this recurring campaign for all of our SocialCRM customers. Please contact your support agent if you would like to change any content in the standard email template below. The campaign is set up to be sent 30 days prior to the projected due date, but that window of time can be changed at your request. Details of the new Recurring Timing-belt campaign:

  • Activated in early September for all customers
  • Reporting will now include “Timing-Belt Campaign”
  • Emails will be sent 30 days prior to timing belt due date, based on the vehicle’s projected mileage
  • Will include scheduled service mileage for when the timing belt is due
  • All text can be edited, including the email subject line and graphic
  • Does not include vehicles with timing chains
  • Can include coupons of your choice
