Electrical systems are very finicky when it comes to connections and grounding. SureTrack community member Ourfamilygarage had a Chevrolet Silverado in their shop that had the airbag light on and no communication with the module. They posed the question to the community, and with the help of fellow community member Dmckemie12 and others, they were able to resolve the issue quickly.
Having two of the same car in your shop with the same issue is fairly uncommon. Hopefully the same fix works for both. SureTrack community member TurnageAutoCare had a two Chevrolet Cruzes that wouldn’t start. One came in that way and one got that way after an engine swap. They posed the question to the community, and with the help of fellow community member Richard_C and others, they were able to resolve the issue quickly.
If you assume the ground connections are correct and in good condition in your truck, you may go down the wrong path. The end result could be unnecessary parts replacement and troubleshooting time, all because a simple ground cable was incorrectly routed and tightened.
