Sometimes you’ll be chasing your tail trying to fix an issue. You’ll find things along the way that might be the cause but it turns out to be something simple. SureTrack community member DNunez had a GMC Yukon in the shop with random misfires. They found several things to fix but still had the misfires. They posed the question to the community, and with the help of fellow community member Halsauto, and others, they were able to resolve the issue quickly.

SureTrack community member Peirs13 had a GMC Sierra pickup in their shop that ran great but would intermittently go into limp in mode and set a bunch of codes. They did all the normal testing for the situation but still didn’t find the cause. Having an tool accident while working on a customer’s car can lead to big issues. SureTrack community member Richard_C had a GMC Envoty in their shop for a head gasket change and when the tech was done, they accidentally shorted the battery and then the truck wouldn’t start. They posed the question to the community, and with the help of fellow community member mwk6503 and others, they were able to resolve the issue quickly.
So you have a vehicle in your shop with a trouble code, you replace obviously bad parts but the code returns. The SureTrack community comes to the rescue. SureTrack community member Mlopez2008 had a GMC Terrain in their shop with a code P0017 camshaft code. They posed the question to the community, and with the help of fellow community member Markbob and others, they were able to resolve the issue quickly.
Vehicles today come with more and more screens and when a blank one is staring you in the face, you may not no where to start testing. SureTrack community member grizz81 had a GMC Terrain SUV in the shop where the radio and touch screen weren’t working.
