Fuel is expensive, so a problem that causes fuel to spill on the ground is especially frustrating for drivers. They replaced the fuel tank and checked the rest of the system, but fuel would spit out when filling the tank, They posed the question to the community, and with the help of fellow community member ericsautomotive, and others, they were able to resolve the issue quickly.
Corrosion is a horrible monster. But never more insidious than when it affects the wiring. SureTrack community member carls4460 had a Ford F350 Super Duty truck that was towed in for a no-start condition. They thought they found the cause but that didn’t fix it. They posed the question to the community, and with the help of fellow community member Poppyshop and others, they were able to resolve the issue quickly.
Electrical issues can be hard to diagnose, especially when standard testing doesn’t reveal the problem. Sometimes you have to go inch by inch through the wiring to find the cause. SureTrack community member Mlopez2008 had a Mercedes-Benz CLK320 in their shop with a message on the dash and the cooling fan running any time the key was on.
