Setting Kilometers as the Default Distance in ProDemand
ProDemand now has a “Distance Unit” setting, allowing you to set either miles or kilometers as the default distance unit. When kilometers are the default setting, the odometer selection will be automatically set to kilometers and Maintenance Service Intervals in both the Maintenance and Estimate Guide Modules will be shown in kilometers.
1) In the top right corner of the screen, select Tools/Shop Settings.
2) In the Shop Settings menu, you’ll see a “Distance Unit” selection. Select the appropriate choice for your location – either “Miles” or “Kilometers”
3) When the kilometers are selected as the default distance unit, the kilometers selection is automatically pre-selected for the odometer setting in vehicle selection.
4) When the kilometers are selected as the default distance unit, maintenance services are shown according to kilometer distance intervals.
5) When the kilometers are selected as the default distance unit, the maintenance services are presented in kilometers under the maintenance tab in the Estimate Guide module.
