Answer the Factoid question correctly and win a $25 Amazon gift card!
Welcome to Factoid Friday, a guessing game that blends a twist of trivia with an interactive component and features some of the iconic pieces of automotive history from the Mitchell 1 Library. And to keep things interesting, we even offer a prize!
We stepped into the “Way Back Machine” for this Factoid Friday post, going directly to the oldest wiring diagram in the Mitchell 1 library. One look at the diagram below and you can see that wiring diagrams have come a very long way. To see the latest OEM wiring diagrams, you just need to log in to ProDemand™. You’ll find the industry’s best collection of scalable, full-color wiring diagrams covering a wide range of makes and models. If you like antiques, we’ve also got plenty of older wiring diagrams — going back to 1960 — in the Vintage module in ProDemand.
Here’s your Factoid question:
What is the year and make of the vehicle to which the wiring diagram below belongs? (click thumbnail to enlarge the image.)
Hint: This vehicle brand still exists and this diagram came from the National Service Manual of Starting, Lighting and Ignition, published by the National Automotive Service. Also check the Mitchell 1 Twitter feed (using the hashtag #M1FactoidFriday) over the next week for additional hints: https://twitter.com/Mitchell1
