We’re excited to announce that the second Shop Management Workshop for 2019 will be held in beautiful Scottsdale, Arizona on September 19-21 at the lovely Scottsdale Plaza Resort. We’ve hosted events here before in recent years, and it is always a popular location with our attendees.
The two-day training session focuses on best practices and guides users through all levels of functionality of Mitchell 1 Manager™ SE and ShopKey Shop Management SE. Topics covered include: optimal settings, workflow options, customization, reporting, scheduling, program security, inventory, purchase orders, aftermarket catalogs and more!
Instructors will also highlight the newest program features, and attendees have a chance to practice the skills they are learning in the classroom in a hands-on computer lab staffed with product experts from Mitchell 1 headquarters.
In addition, the latest optional modules that expand Manager SE capabilities are also covered: the new ProSpect digital vehicle check-in/inspection app for mobile devices and MessageCenter for text messaging directly from the system. Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn more about our other products during breaks and meal times including the integrated Mitchell 1 SocialCRM auto shop marketing service.
The workshop will be led by Tim McDonnell, senior marketing manager for Manager SE, and Dan Johnson, product manager for Manager SE. “For the experienced Manager user, the workshop provides two days of comprehensive training that increases the value of their shop’s software investment,” said McDonnell. “The interaction between attendees, sharing methods and tips, plus the new friendships everyone takes home, is priceless.”
Attendees will be welcomed the first evening with a cocktail reception on Thursday, Sept. 19. Workshop sessions begin the next day and run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 20 and Saturday, Sept. 21. The registration fee is $250 per attendee, plus applicable tax, and covers seminars, breakfast, lunch and refreshments each day. Participants are responsible for their own transportation to Scottsdale and hotel accommodations. A special discounted hotel room block will be available at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort through Aug. 30, on a first come first served basis.
Attendees can also earn 30 Automotive Management Institute (AMI) credits toward the Accredited Automotive Manager (AAM) designation by completing the workshop. At the end of each workshop, AMI course completion forms will be handed out to those attendees who wish to pursue AMI credits.
