We got some exciting news this week: Mitchell 1 received an Innovation Award for 2016 from Professional Tool & Equipment News (PTEN)! The prestigious award is presented annually, to recognize tools that PTEN’s panel of independent judges views as the most innovative products introduced in the last year to the automotive aftermarket.

The Manager™ SE Scheduler tool won for the Computers and Software category. With the new Scheduler, for the first time, automotive repair shops have the ability to see and control all aspects of their scheduling process with a searchable, sortable and configurable calendar with an appointment editor. The tool gives shops one more way to increase efficiency and provide better service to customers.

According to PTEN, “These tools, introduced or significantly updated within the last year, are evaluated based on their ability make vehicle diagnosis and repair easier and more efficient, and make shops more productive.”

More than 100 new products were nominated for all categories in 2016. Nominees were featured in the May and June 2016 issues of Professional Distributor and PTEN.
