Latest ProDemand Update: Integrated Community and 1Search Improvements
With our latest software update, ProDemand more tightly integrates with the SureTrack Community. This will facilitate the use of SureTrack and make it even easier to diagnose vehicles by sharing real-world experience with other technicians. There are also improvements made to our 1Search module and how search results are returned for symptoms and non-standard codes. See below for the list of changes:
Integrated Community: The Community module is now integrated within ProDemand, allowing the use of community functions such as asking and answering questions without exiting the application. An improved user profile allows you to participate in the community as an individual member, even if you access ProDemand though the automotive repair shop where you work. The updated profile manager will not only provide additional security for your account, but also allows you to control all aspects of your personal information within the community.
Improvements to Symptom Searches: We have expanded the 1Search functionality to improve results when searching for symptoms. Symptoms and components/vehicle systems can be matched together in the same search, for example you can search for leak and find results related to vacuum leaks, brake fluid leaks, coolant leaks, etc. Symptom search improvements can be found in both OEM information as well as SureTrack Real Fix content.
Improvements to Non-Standard Diagnostic Trouble Code Searches: Non-standard codes, such as the first generation of On-Board Diagnostic codes, have been tagged so that your code searches return more relevant OEM information.
Newsletter: A newsletter has been added to the bottom of the home page, giving you access to the latest news and information from Mitchell 1. Links to blog posts, support pages, and our latest updates are included, allowing you to more easily keep up with the improvements made to ProDemand.
Software Fixes: ProDemand will now work on iOS 10 devices and an issue related to using VIN decode upon vehicle selection has been fixed.
