A Helping Hand after the Louisiana Flood

After Hunt’s Tire Pros and Car Care auto repair shop in Baton Rouge LA was inundated with flood water during the devastating floods that hit that area a few weeks ago, they needed help. Along with other damage at the shop, the computer system was destroyed – and with it went all their business records and customer information. Les Hunt, co-owner of the shop with his wife Charlene, called Mitchell 1’s tech support line for help and the team jumped in quickly.

Les purchased a new computer system and had it shipped directly to Mitchell 1. David Craig, technical support rep, and Abagail Lucero, customer care supervisor, got to work. They installed the Manager SE shop management software along with the SocialCRM marketing integration, and most importantly restored all the shop’s records. Manager SE’s built-in data protection and recovery feature had automatically backed up the shop’s data to a secure remote location, making it fast and easy to recover the system without loss of data.

Abagail has kept in touch with Les and says the shop is doing great now: “They are back up and running and have been pretty busy. Les said that it was a good thing we were able to get his history back up. He’s having to print a lot of invoices for the insurance companies to cover his customers’ claims.”
