First Shop Management Workshop of 2014 Set for May in Atlantic City

Every year, just before the holidays, the Mitchell 1 shop management workshop planning team traditionally meets to discuss events for the coming year. We strive to select locations that our customers would enjoy visiting, making certain we secure pleasant accommodations with nice meals at a special Mitchell 1 rate. Once we have the cities, our events planner goes to work to research hotels and pulls together all the details.

We’re pleased to announce that the first Shop Management Workshop for 2014 will be held in Atlantic City, NJ on May 1-3. The venue is the Resorts Casino Hotel, which claims on its website that “The Fun is Here” — so there will be opportunities for fun as well as learning! This takes care of the East. There other two events in 2014 will cover the middle and western parts of the country and will be announced when we have the details for those nailed down. We like to say that we have it covered geographically, but it seems that timing is just as important as location, as no matter where we hold the workshops, users show up from all over the country.

During the actual workshop, John Dwulet, senior product manager, and I, your humble training manager, deliver a comprehensive two-day functionality training session on the Mitchell 1 Manager SE™ 6.5 system. Topics include program flow, setup values, inventory, reporting, tips, best practices and advanced transactions as well as parts catalog integration. Increasing efficiency and profitability is the name of the game. We are particularly excited to be demonstrating Manager SE 6.5 for the first time, as it delivers on a number of long-requested features that will please many customers.

While the primary mission of the workshop is to thoroughly review Manager SE and give you new ideas and an improved skills set to take home, many attendees also want to learn about Mitchell 1’s SocialCRM™ customer acquisition and retention service that includes reputation marketing, social media and customer reviews. We host a relaxed evening reception where you can hear about and understand new marketing concepts and how to capitalize on your shop management data to further grow your businesses. Information about other related products such as ProPack and X-Charge will be available from experts who will demonstrate the features and answer questions, right outside the meeting room on breaks..

For the experienced Manager user, the workshop provides comprehensive training that increases the value of their shop’s software investment.
