Meet the New “Driver” Field in Manager SE

The Manager SE shop management software continues to add refinements that our users are going to use — and love —on a daily basis. The Vehicle screen now includes a new Driver field to allow users the option to assign a specific driver to each vehicle in the family fleet.

This feature has been often requested by shops, and addresses the need to know who should be contacted about the vehicle’s status, as well as whether they should be contacted by phone, email or text message. This is true when additional work has been identified and needs to be discussed or simply to let the alternate driver know the vehicle is ready to be picked up.

As drivers are assigned to each vehicle, Manager SE populates a list to assign or re-assign drivers within the “family fleet.” This enhancement is another step towards having a composite (family) customer record, where all concerned can better address the appointment, repair status and subsequent notifications.
