3 Easy Steps to Faster Information with TruckSeries’ Plate-to-VIN Feature

Have you ever been in the position where you are writing an estimate using either the LABOR GUIDE or QUOTES module in TruckSeries, and you or the technician forgot to write the VIN and/or the year, make and model of the vehicle? Luckily, if you have the license plate number, there is nothing to worry about; you have all the information you will need at your fingertips. With Truck Series Vehicle Selector Plate-to-VIN feature, complete the customer’s quote by simply plugging in the license plate and automatically get the vehicle’s VIN, year, make and model.  Here is how it works.

Step 1: Navigate to the Vehicle Selector VIN option

Step 2: Enter the vehicles registered license plate information and click the “lookup” button

After clicking the “Lookup” button, the registered VIN, year make and model for the plate information entered will be displayed.

Step 3: Click the “Use This Vehicle” button, and the needed information will now be displayed.
