2018 SuperTech Winners Earned Their Bragging Rights

It was another great year at the TMC 2018 SuperTech National Technician Skills Competition, and once again, it was fantastic to be part of the competition and see so much talent come through the Service Information station. For the last 13 years, Mitchell 1 has sponsored the national competition as well as many state technician skills competitions and provided the online repair information software used in the station for testing.

This year there was again no shortage of talent and competing for Grand Champion was quite the rigorous process as usual. Taking the Grand Champion win this year was Phillip Pinter from FedEx Freight in Ida, MI. Not only did Phillip win much deserved bragging rights, but Mitchell 1 also gifted him with a subscription to TruckSeries that will allow him to access all of Mitchell 1’s online service information products for Class 4-8 trucks for a full year. Great job, Phillip!

In addition to the Grand Champion winner, other participants can win for top scores within specific areas, including service information. The winner for best scores and performance when working with our service information booth was Adam Martin from W.W. Williams. Congratulations Adam! We look forward to next year.
