Mitchell 1 has enhanced its ProDemand™ repair, diagnostic and maintenance software with an infusion of new expert-based information and expanded features to help auto service professionals diagnose and repair vehicles faster and with more accuracy.
In 2013, Mitchell 1 introduced advanced 1Search™ technology that integrates the detailed OEM information in ProDemand with real-world content from SureTrack®, the diagnostic module in ProDemand, to provide comprehensive, categorized repair information together in a user-friendly interface. With the latest product update, every lookup in ProDemand now delivers:
- More SureTrack Real Fixes generated from a growing database of tips contributed by professional technicians and insight extracted from successfully-completed repair orders.
- More Common Replaced Parts graphs covering a broader range of code, component and symptom lookups so technicians can see at a glance the most likely root cause of the problem.
- Enhanced component test information with connector views to help confirm the diagnosis.
- Scope waveforms and data graphs served up automatically, providing a point of reference to verify faulty parts.
