New Transmission Index in TruckSeries

We’re pleased to announce another enhancement to the TruckSeries repair information for Class 4-8 trucks that will help techs work more efficiently. At Mitchell 1, we constantly strive to improve our products, adding new truck repair information and features, and making it easier and faster for our customers to navigate in the software.

Previously we added the “Engine Service and Fault Code Index” and “SAE J1939/1587 Electronic Control Unit (ECU) Index” to our TruckSeries suite of repair information software for Class 4-8 trucks. Now we’ve added a “Transmission Service & Fault Code Index” in the RepairConnect module to give truck techs a quick way to access all the transmission information for heavy trucks. You’ll find all this information in the “Quick Lookups” tab in the Repair Module of TruckSeries.

Below are step-by-step instructions to find the new index:

  1. After you have selected your vehicle, click the Table of Contents tab
  2. Select Quick Lookups and then DTC Index
  3. Select Transmission Service & Fault Code Index (See Figure 1 – click images to expand to full size)
