Setup for Gmail or Yahoo Email Accounts For Use With SE Shop Mgmt.

You can set up Windows Live mail to work with GMAIL, YAHOO and many others - which then allows a user to email from Manager

Setting up Yahoo Mail in Windows Live Mail
Launch Windows Live Mail.
Click Add e-mail account.
Enter the following information:
E-mail address - Your full Yahoo Mail email address (e.g., user@yahoo.com This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .)
Password - Your Yahoo Mail password.
Remember password - Clear this check box (optional) if you don't want Windows Live Mail to retain your Yahoo Mail password
Display Name - The name you want to display on your sent messages.
Select Manually configure server settings for e-mail account.
Click Next.
In the "Add email account" window:
Make sure your settings match the POP settings for Yahoo Mail.
Select This server requires a secure connection (SSL).
For "Log on using," select Clear text authentication.
Select My outgoing server requires authentication.
Click Next.
- The message, "You have successfully entered in the information required to set up your account" will appear.
Select Set this account as the default mail account.
Click Finish.

Access a Gmail Account in Windows Live Mail Using POP

To set up access to a Gmail account in Windows Live Mail:

Make sure POP access is turned on for your Gmail account.
Go to Mail under Shortcuts in Windows Live Mail.
Click Add an e-mail account at the bottom of the list.
Type your Gmail address under E-mail address:.
Type your Gmail password under Password:.
Enter your name under Display Name:.
Make sure Manually configure server settings for e-mail account. is not checked.
Click Next.
Click Finish.
Click Send/receive in the Windows Live Mail toolbar.
That's it. By now, a Gmail account should have appeared in the folder pane, and if you had any mail waiting in Gmail, it is now in its Inbox.

why cant i set up G mail in Manager SE without using thunderbird or windows mail client?
