SE DEFAULT PRINTER NOT STICKING IN WINDOWS 10

Symptom:

Customers are reporting that the printer is switching without notice in windows 10.  This applies to Propack users in particular because of the Windows setting in the screen shot below.  Turning the “Let Windows manage my default printer to “Off” resolves the issue.

Solution:

To turn off this mode, open Start and select Settings.

Go to Devices and select  Printers and Scanners

At the bottom of the screen, if the Let Windows manage my default printer is set to ON, the Windows will automatically set the printer to the last used printer.  Please turn this option to OFF

*** You may need to run windows updates if you do not see this option.***
